What size should I get?
Measure your pet from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, then add 4–8 inches. That leaves room to stretch out as well as curl up. If they're between sizes, go up — pets sprawl more than you'd think, and a bed that's slightly roomy still works. A bed that's slightly tight gets ignored.
It arrived flat. Did I get a faulty one?
No — it ships compressed to keep shipping affordable. Unpack it, shake it out, fluff the rim with your hands and leave it for 24 hours. The filling expands back to full height on its own. Almost every "it looked flat" message we get is resolved by the next morning.
Can I put it in the washing machine?
Yes, the whole bed. Cold cycle, gentle setting, mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry — then give it another fluff once it's dry to bring the rim back up. Skip the fabric softener; it coats the fibres and flattens the pile over time.
My pet ignores every bed I buy. Will this be different?
Often, yes — but give it a week. Put it where they already sleep rather than where you'd like them to, and drop in a blanket or worn t-shirt that smells like you. Most pets investigate on day one and commit by day three. If yours truly won't use it, send it back.
Will it survive a chewer or a scratcher?
It handles normal kneading, digging and circling without a problem — cats can knead the rim daily and it holds. It is not a chew toy, though. If your dog destroys soft furnishings for sport, supervise the first few sessions before leaving them alone with it.
Is it good for older pets with stiff joints?
That's where people notice the biggest change.
